ConsultAI is designed as a research tool to investigate the conversational intelligence-assisted consultation (CIAC) in supporting the clinical interview flow of company doctors.
ConsultAI is developed based on a set of iterative design activities involving multi-stakeholders.
The chatbot of ConsultAI was designed with one automated and one on-demand interaction styles.
The qualitative data analysis suggested that ConsultAI could enhance the consultation workflow, regarding increased access to relevant information as well as structured decision-making processes with valuable references. Moreover, the on-demand, lightweight interactions provided by the chatbot was experienced decisive to the system.
